About
Sam Harrison, lsw
I would be so grateful to be a part of your journey to find healing and peace. My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. I tailor my work to clients unique needs and goals. I draw from approaches such as CBT and DBT, while integrating trauma-focused, somatic practices. I value creating a space that feels safe, supportive, empowering and at times even lighthearted, because humor can be just as healing as insight. You will be met with unconditional empathy, respect, and compassion.
I have experience supporting adolescents, teens, and adults through a variety of challenges that arise in life. My expertise is in eating disorders, depression, and anxiety. I have had the honor to support individuals throughout various stages of eating disorder recovery for the last few years. I am passionate about helping clients who feel stuck in cycles of self-criticism, perfectionism, and self-doubt. Together, we can focus on building coping skills, exploring underlying patterns, and developing new ways of relating to yourself and others.
