About

Danielle pombo, LSW

As a therapist, I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment holding space for clients to explore their inner world without fear of judgement. My approach is rooted in a client-centered, strength-based, and pro-symptom perspective. I believe that healing begins with feeling seen, heard, and accepted. With warmth and curiosity, I work to build a strong therapeutic alliance centered in unconditional positive regard and deep respect for each client’s unique journey. Clients are invited to show up exactly as they are, knowing they will be met with empathy and understanding.

I have experience at both the residential and outpatient level working with children, adolescents, teens and adults struggling with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive behavior, low self-esteem, eating disorders and body image issues, with a special interest in attachment wounds and relational trauma.

My work is informed by understanding the nervous system as the heart of our lived experience.

I assist clients in exploring their survival strategies and internalized coping methods through a lens of compassion to grow their capacity for becoming more attuned to the body’s wisdom. In addition to somatic work, I gently support clients in removing barriers to accessing tools and resources—like boundary-setting and assertive communication—to give voice to their inner child, rebuild self-trust, and expand their capacity for safety and connection. With a holistic, mind-body approach to healing, shame and self-blame can soften, allowing learned helplessness to transform into empowerment. I am honored to walk alongside each client, celebrating their uncapped resilience as they rediscover their inherent worth and cultivate a life that feels aligned, grounded and whole.
